The Additional File type functionality makes it possible to create additional files for an object, for example .pdf files. The additional file types to be saved are defined per Object class and it's possible to set up YaPlm to save all file types found under Save As in the application.
To Save an Additional File:
- Select Save As Additional located in the YaPlm menu in the integration.
- A list of available file extensions are displayed. Select the extension to be saved. For example .step
An additional file is now saved to the documents corresponding object in YaPlm. The file is displayed on the object's Files Tab and the attribute AdditionalFile (Link) is set to 'true'
