The Additional File functionality makes it possible to create additional files for a document, for example .pdf files. The Additional Files to be saved are defined per Document Class and it is possible to set up YaPlm to save all the file types found under Save As in the application.
To save an additional file:
- Select
Save As Additional located in the
YaPlm Toolbar in the integration.
- A list of available file extensions are displayed. Select the extension to be saved. For example .pdf
An additional file is now saved to the document in YaPlm. The file is displayed on Files tab.
| | The Additional Files are revision unique for the object. The files are not copied to the new revision of the document.

Mandatory files
YaPlm can be set up to save additional files during the life cycle operation. The additional files are set up as mandatory in the system and are tagged with the attribute Mandatory
