Object Based Authorization

The object based authorization in YaPlm can be used to set authorization on an object level. Only members are allowed to access the object in YaPlm. For example the authorization functionality can be used to set the access levels for a project.

 

 

- Mark an object in the Tree Structure and select Add/Remove Members from the right click menu

 

 

- Select members. Members can be a group, role or a particular user. If no member is selected all users can access the folder.

If the checkbox Apply changes to all descendants  is checked all objects linked to the folder will inherit the members from the marked folder
