To Open a File from YaPlm
Files can be accessed and opened directly from YaPlm. A file is always opened from the working directory, if it doesn't exist in the working directory it is copied from the file vault on the server.
To open a file:
- Mark an object of the type Document and select Open from the right click menu
A list of all associated files is shown
- Select one of the files
The file is now copied out to the working directory (if it wasn't already there) and opened in its application
To open a file from the file tab:
- Mark a file from the Files Tab and select Open
The file is now copied out to the working directory (if it wasn't already there) and opened in its application
To open a file in selected application:
- Mark a file from the Files Tab and select Open With...
- The following dialogue is opened:
- Selected desired application and then OK
The file is now copied out to the working directory (if it wasn't already there) and opened in selected application
